Phonopoly is a twist to Monopoly but with phonics. A great way to practice reading with early readers. You can get it from Twinkl - https://www.twinkl.co.uk/resource/phase-2-phonics-phonopoly-board-game-t-l-527748

Sight words from Amazon - These words cannot be sounded out and have to learnt by sight. I choose a word and put it inside a magic hat. We shake the hat and tip out the new word. We read the word put the word into a sentence for context. When we have learnt a few of these words over a few weeks I make a ‘magic word snake’ (see pic) for extra practise containing around 5-10 words already learnt. I hide the mini word cards that match the words on the snake around the room and she goes on a word hunt. She finds the words, reads them and then matches them to the snake. It works well. We then play ‘hide the new word in the pack’. I have the set of flash card words learnt so far in a pile. I hide the new word in the pile. I flick through the pack whilst my child reads each flash card speedily. When they see the new word she has to jump up and point.
