Teaching "body parts" is an important part of the early vocabulary for a baby/infant. It should infact be included in the first 100 words that the baby learns. It helps them know about their body and communicate their needs earlier.
1. As the baby can see your body parts and not hers (without a mirror), start by showing yours to your child. Point to your nose and say "nose" and then point to her's.
2. Singing rhymes - Head shoulders knees & toes, Daddy finger, Ten little fingers,
chubby cheeks, this little piggie etc.
2. Use flash cards, props like dolls.
